PUBLIC COMMENTS <br /> <br />Dick Petherbridge, 2002 S. Artesia Street, and Bert Carter, 2022 S. <br />Artesia, presented a petition to Council requesting the installation of a <br />traffic signal at Raitt and St. Gertrude Place. The Mayor requested the <br />City Manager investigate the matter, and report to Council on April 18, <br />1988. <br /> <br />Mary Trottier, addressed Council expressing concerns regarding sections of <br />the Santa Aha Municipal Code pertaining to birds, and requested <br />modifications be made to the Animal Ordinance. She was referred to the <br />City Manager by the Mayor. <br /> <br />The following persons expressed concern regarding increasing crime, <br />declining Police services, lack of leadership in the management of the <br />City, support for the Police Benevolent Association's position with <br />respect to compensation negotiations, gang activity, the ratio of police <br />officers to citizens, and other issues of public safety: <br /> <br />Pat Mill, 617 S. Hollyline <br /> <br />The M~or requested that speaker Raya present his comments regarding <br />targets to achieve regarding Police services to the City Manager.
