CITY COUNCIL COMMENTS <br /> <br />Orange County Transportation Commission Appointment <br /> <br />Vice Mayor McGuigan indicated she had just received a communication <br />relative to an appointment to the Orange County Transportation Commission, <br />and requested the Brown Act requirements be waived to allow the Council to <br />take action with regard to supporting the candidacy of Clarice A. Blamer to the Orange County <br /> Transportation Commission. <br /> <br />MOTION: Hart SECOND: Griset <br /> <br />VOTE: <br /> <br />AYES: <br />NOES: <br />ABSENT: <br /> <br />Acosta, Griset, Hart, May, McGui§an, Pulido, Young <br />None <br />None FILE 1000 <br /> <br />Vice Mayor McGuigan also reported that a request had been received from <br />the Cable Board for direction from the City Council which required timely <br />action. <br /> <br />The City Manager explained that a response was being prepared by staff and <br />would be available prior to the Cable Board's next regular meeting. <br /> <br />Vice Mayor McGuigan also requested that staff investigate unsightly and <br />excessively prolonged storage of deliveries to the General Market located <br />at 1722A W. First Street. <br /> <br />Councilmember Acosta once again urged the Council to adopt a grafitti <br />ordinance.
