MINUT£S OF THE ADJOURNED REGULAR MEETING <br />AND REGULAR COUNCIL MEETINGS <br /> OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF <br /> SANTA ANA, CALIFORNIA <br /> <br />MAY l§, 1989 <br /> <br />The meeting was called to order at 3:24 p.m. in Room 423, City Hall, <br />20 Civic Center Plaza, by Mayor Dan Young. Councilmembers present were <br />John Acosta, Ron May, Patricia A. McGuigan, Rick Norton, and Miguel A. <br />Pulido. Also present were City Manager David N. Ream, City Attorney <br />Edward J. Cooper and Clerk of the Council Janice C. Guy. <br /> <br />Councilmember Daniel E. Griset joined the meeting at 3:27 p.m. <br /> <br />COUNCIL STUDY SESSION <br /> <br />FISCAL YEAR 1989-90 BUDGET <br /> <br />Budget presentations were made to the Council by the following: <br /> <br /> Allison Hall, Executive Director of Personnel Services <br /> Rob Richard, Library Director <br /> <br />RECESSED - 4:31 P.M. <br /> <br />RECONVENED - 4:52 P.M. - All Councilmembers present. <br /> <br />Allen Doby, Executive Director of Recreation and Community <br /> Services <br /> <br />The Mayor inquired as to when Council could expect to see the Master Plan <br />for the Zoo. Mr. Doby indicated a copy would be available by the middle <br />of the upcoming fiscal year. <br /> <br />CONSENT CALENDAR REVIEW <br /> <br />Councilmembers discussed concerns with respect to Consent Calendar items. <br /> <br />Councilmember McGuigan inquired as to the installation of curbs and <br />gutters in the project area of Item 2.D. Staff responded this was a <br />repaving project not requiring an overall upgrading. Mayor Young <br />requested staff review the project in light of the City's street <br />improvement program using other funds to install curbs and gutters within <br />the year. <br /> <br />CITY COUNCIL MINUTES <br /> <br />126 MAY 15, 1989 <br /> <br /> <br />
