PUBLIC CO~IENTS <br /> <br />Roger Ramseyer, 815 E. Clemenson, criticized M~or Pro Tem Acosta and <br />Councilmembers May, Norton and Pulido for delaying action on Council <br />agenda items and encouraged those same Councilmembers to publicly express <br />the particulars concerning the City Attorney. <br /> <br />Miles Leach, 2025 W. Tenth Street, expressed the opinion that the Council <br />was not representing the wishes of the people of the City of Santa Ana, <br />and had a conflict of interest when acting as the Redevelopment Agency. <br />He also noted the deterioration of Bristol Street had been exacerbated due <br />to lack of knowledge on the part of property owners impacted by the <br />Project and indecisiveness on the part of those involved in Project <br />decisions. <br /> <br />James McGuigan, 5642 Keelson, expressed concern regarding diminution of <br />any regulatory standards with respect to swap meets. <br /> <br />Carlos Ruiz, 130 W. MacArthur, requested assistance from the Council <br />regarding drug problems, graffiti, and gang activity in his neighborhood. <br />The Mayor referred Mr. Ruiz to the Santa Ana Police Department and the <br />City Manager for assistance. <br /> <br />One of the property owners of ll40 S. Bristol Street discussed the <br />negative impacts of the indoor swap meet at Bristol and McFadden on <br />adjoining businesses, and requested information as to the granting of the <br />permit for its operation. The Mayor requested staff to research the <br />situation and report to the Councilmembers and the owner. <br /> <br />90.C.
