Pat started with ACMS in 1994 as the Area Supervisor for the Lake <br />Forest Crossing Guard Program. She quickly proved herself to be an outstanding leader with a <br />compassion for the work that we do. In 1998 she was promoted to Operations Manager. She <br />currently manages 55 Area Supervisors whom oversee all of the Crossing Guard Programs under <br />our management. Pat will work closely with the new Santa Ana Area Supervisors to train, give <br />direction, answer questions and ultimately ensure their success. She will be the go-to person for <br />any initial problems or issues with the Santa Ana Program. As such, the following synopsis <br />highlights some of her experience and training relevant to crossing guard management and <br />training. <br /> <br />)> 2002 to Present Ongoing participation in the Pednet mail-list dedicated to issues of <br />pedestrian safety. Contributors include professional consultants, researchers, government <br />pedestrian coordinators, pedestrian rights activists, walking advocates, elected officials, <br />writers, disability experts, road engineers, planners, and general-interest individuals <br />representing over 15 countries worldwide <br /> <br />}>- 2002-0SHA Compliance Conference, Pasadena, California. Successful completion of <br />Seminar designed to assist employers in bringing greater safety to the workplace. <br /> <br />)> 2001 to Present -Ongoing cooperative effort with Dr. Sheila Sarkar, Director <br />California Institute of Transportation Safety (CITS), Dept. of Civil and Environmental <br />Engineering, San Diego State University, San Diego, California <br /> <br />Most recently assisted in the development and distribution of the research survey <br />for Crossing Guard safety issues. <br /> <br />)> 2000 Florida School Crossing Guard Trainer Certification <br />Florida Department of Transportation, Deland, Florida <br />Successfully completed two-day (16 hour) course of study under the direction of the <br />Florida Department of Transportation. Certified as a Trainer for conducting safety <br />training of School Crossing Guards. <br /> <br />)> 1999-Training the Trainer Seminar, Fred Pryor Seminars, Inc. Oak Park, lIlinois <br />Successfully completed two-day (12 hour) seminar directed at building an effective <br />approach to training individuals who are then responsible for conducting employee <br />training sessions. <br /> <br />}> 1998-How to Design a Training Program- Padgett Thompson Seminars, Anaheim, CA <br />Successfully completed one-day seminar focusing on strategies for developing a <br />successful training program. <br /> <br />5 <br /> <br />'.J! j, '\ <br />
