<br />~ <br /> <br />SCOPE OF SERVICES <br /> <br />CONSULTANT shall provide children's ballet dance instruction. <br /> <br />· CONSULTANT will provide dance instruction for up to twenty (20) children, <br />ages 4 to 12, one hour per week, during each four month session. The classes will <br />commence July 1, 2002 and continue through June 30, 2003. Consultant shall <br />provide a minimum of 32 lessons during each session. <br />· CONSULTANT will offer professional level instruction. Traditional ballet <br />terminology and technique will be utilized. Sequential instruction will be utilized <br />for optimum instruction. <br />· CONSULTANT shall provide and be responsible for equipment, records, <br />personnel and clean up of facilities and material necessary to ensure the <br />effectiveness of said instruction. <br /> <br />CLASS SIZE REGISTRA nON <br /> <br />I. The minimum number of students is 15 per class, the maximum is 20 students. <br /> <br />2. No registration shall be accepted after the second week of classes. <br /> <br />3. In the event the minimum number of enrollees is not realized by the second week <br />of classes, the class shall be canceled and Consultant will be under no obligation <br />to provide services, nor will she receive compensation. <br /> <br />COMPENSATION <br /> <br />A. The fee to participants shall be no more than $35.00 per enrollee. No refunds <br />shall be made to participants, unless class is canceled by the Parks, Recreation <br />and Community Services Agency. <br />B. City shall collect said fees from each participant in the class during the <br />registration period. Consultant shall refer participants to City. City shall pay <br />Consultant seventy percent (70%) of the total fees within fifteen (15) working <br />days after completion of class period. City shall retain thirty percent (30%) of <br />fees collected. <br />C. Consultant agrees City is entitled to audit Consultant's records to ensure <br />compliance with this Agreement. <br />
