;1Pf; City of Santa Ana <br />On -Call Traffic Engineering <br />• Prepare an Intemet-compatible format of the Tool Kit. <br />• Assist City staff in integrating the pedestrian safety program the City's <br />Leadership Training Curriculum Binder. <br />• Develop of multilingual interactive display from the current display. <br />• Assist the Task Force in working with school districts on pedestrian safety. <br />This would include review of "Suggested Route to School" maps. <br />• Assist Task Force in developing and implementing a program to sponsor <br />at least two speakers per year on pedestrian safety. <br />D.OTS Project No. PS-0120, Pedestrian Safety <br />Analysis: Update and Awareness Program <br />As indicated in the "Method of Procedure" section of OTS Project No. PS0120, <br />the specific tasks for the consultant are to be determined by the Traffic <br />Engineering Staff, in conjunction with the Consultant. The following are general <br />descriptions of the work envisioned for this project. <br />• Meet with City traffic engineering staff and Task Force to determine <br />specific tasks. <br />• Assist in the Pedestrian Safety study, including data collection and <br />analyses and preparation of a report. <br />• Develop guidelines for installation of marked crosswalks. <br />• Prepare a summary report for posting on the City's website. <br />• Analyze mid -block pedestrian collisions, identify common factors, and <br />recommend actions to reduce these types of crashes. <br />• A subconsultant will be selected at a later date to assist the City in the <br />Public Education Phase of the project. <br />^^ WILLDAN s_16 <br />, , Page <br />
