<br />;..,.., <br /> <br />CITY OF SANTA ANA <br />CITY COUNCIL COMMITTEE ON <br />MAIN STREET DEVELOPMENT <br /> <br />MINUTES <br />May 21, 2003 <br /> <br />CALL TO ORDER <br />The meeting convened at 7:25 a.m. in City Hall, Room 831, 20 Civic Center Plaza, <br />Santa Ana, California. <br /> <br />ATTENDANCE <br />City Council Committee Members present were: Council member Claudia Alvarez, <br />Council member Lisa Bist and Councilmember Jose Solorio. <br /> <br />Staff members present were: Assistant City Manager Debra Kurita, Community <br />Development Agency Executive Director John Reekstin, Planning Manager Joseph <br />Edwards, Community Preservation Manager Bruce Dunams, Associate Planner Bob St. <br />Paul, Code Enforcement Inspector Alvaro Nunez and Project Manager Vicki Uehli. <br /> <br />..... <br /> <br />Members of the public present were: Ben Grabiel and Vincent Sarmiento. <br /> <br />AGENDA ITEMS <br /> <br />1. APPROVAL OF MINUTES - April 16, 2003 <br /> <br />Action: Councilmember Bist moved and Councilmember Alvarez seconded <br />the approval of the minutes. <br /> <br />2. PROPOSED CODE ENFORCEMENT ACTIONS <br /> <br />Alvaro Nunez reported that several properties were receiving Notices of <br />Violation. He is working with CDA via the Rebate Program to remove two pole <br />signs. He also provided the committee members with a list of properties owned <br />by Michael Harrah that included Notices of Violation issued on these properties. <br /> <br />..... <br />
