<br />'-' <br /> <br />'-' <br /> <br />'"" <br /> <br />· 1307 S. Main - Concerns have been raised about the colors of the new paint <br />job at the old "La Perla" restaurant. A Notice of Violation will be issued to <br />address unpermitted signage, and the new building owner will be encouraged <br />to work with the Community Development Agency to paint the building again. <br />· 2034 S. Main / 2038 S. Main - The property owner gave his consent and <br />allowed the Community Development Agency access to remove the two pole <br />signs located on his two properties. <br />· 827 S. Main - Community Preservation has received some calls from the <br />Eastside Neighborhood Association regarding Main Photo's dilapidated signs. <br />Planning is working with Main Photo, and they have obtained a sign permit to <br />install/repair the damaged sign face. It was not necessary to issue a Notice <br />of Violation. <br /> <br />3. <br /> <br />PROJECT UPDATES <br /> <br />a) SWC First and Main Streets - The developer has not yet identified a <br />restaurant operator for the project. <br /> <br />b) Main Street Concourse - The developer has submitted into Site Plan Review. <br />The Committee expressed initial dissatisfaction with some elements of the <br />site plan, including lack of retail to augment the restaurants/market/theater <br />and lack of integration with the residential portion of the project. <br /> <br />c) One Broadway Plaza - The environmental document is out for public review, <br />and the site plan will be submitted shortly. <br /> <br />d) YMCA - The potential developers have had difficulty substantiating the <br />financial viability of a boutique hotel/restaurant/health club. They will begin <br />exploring the integration of lofts into the project. <br /> <br />e) Fence Adiacent to Bike Trail - A Notice of Violation was issued with an <br />August 31 compliance date. <br /> <br />f) Court of Appeals - There was no change in status. <br /> <br />g) MainIWarner School Site - There was no change in status. <br /> <br />h) DSABA - The Committee and staff discussed the organizational structure and <br />timeline approved by the DSABA Board at its May 2003 meeting. <br /> <br />i) 4th Street Pushcart Status - The RFP has been completed. At least four bids <br />are being solicited within three-to-four weeks for consideration by the <br />Downtown vendors. <br /> <br />City Council Committee on Main <br />Street Development.
