These <br />items include: <br />. An agreement for maintenance and repair of Rocky laptop computers in <br />an amount not to exceed $145,000 for the Police Department <br />. An agreement for the maintenance and repair of the jail management <br />system in an amount not to exceed $38,600 <br />. An agreement to service the Police Department's vehicle radio modems <br />and Radio Network Controller <br />. An agreement for the LaserFiche document imaging software upgrades <br />and maintenance in an amount not to exceed $26,000 <br />. An agreement for the purchase of software and technical services related <br />to investment tracking in an amount not exceeding $32,000 - Finance and <br />Management Services <br />. Acceptance of a donation of six Seiko printers donated by Crossroads <br />Software Company - Police Department <br /> <br />~ Project Updates <br /> <br />Pursuant to a prior request from Committee members, Debra Kurita presented a <br />report prepared by the Community Development Agency relative to promotion of <br />free web sites for neighborhood associations. Neighborhood Improvement staff <br />first started promoting the availability of free "shell websites" from Neighborhood <br />Links in 1999. With the cooperation of Neighborhood Links, Community <br />Redevelopment staff h as extended the free website offer to community based <br />organizations, service clubs and nonprofit organizations in Santa Ana. There are <br />currently 19 neighborhood associations that have a website, of which 12 are <br />using Neighborhood Links. <br /> <br />Additionally, pursuant to a request from the Committee relative to obtaining <br />information on free or low-cost computers for non profit organizations, a report <br />detailing agencies that provide these services was distributed to the committee <br />members <br /> <br />Public Comments - None <br /> <br />Committee Member Comments <br /> <br />~ <br /> <br />Councilmember Alvarez asked if there would be a meeting with the participants <br />who worked on submitting the TOP grant to update them on the status of the <br />
