PUBLIC COMMENTS <br /> <br />Pat Mill, 617 S. Starboard, urged the Council to ban fireworks including those labeled "safe <br />and sane" fireworks in Santa Ana. She also expressed dissatisfaction with the City's tree <br />removal practices and lack of curb and gutter replacement in her neighborhood. <br /> <br />90.C. <br /> <br />CITY COUNCIL COMMENTS <br /> <br />At Councilmember Acosta's request, Maintenance Services Manager Larry Christian <br />explained the City's procedures for tree removal and indicated he would report on Ms. Mills <br />complaints. <br /> <br />Councilmember Acosta also noted that he had heard the City was going to lose the Jeep <br />dealership in the Auto Mall; the City Manager indicated he would investigate. <br /> <br />Councilmember McGuigan encouraged the removal by staff of political signs on telephone <br />poles in the public right-of-way.
