Utility Service Company, Inc. <br />2. Metro Builders & Engineers <br />Group, Ltd. <br /> <br />Perry, GA <br />Newport Beach, <br />CA <br /> <br />A total of three bids were received and two were responsive. Robinson- <br />Prezioso, Inc. failed to notorize their signature on the bid bond as <br />required by the bidding documents and therefore, Robinson-Prezioso, <br />Inc.'s bid is non-responsive. The lowest bid was submitted by Utility <br />Service Company, Inc., for $1,098,850, which is above the Engineer IS <br />estimate of $905,000. The high bid is due to the uniqueness of the <br />project. <br /> <br />ENVIRONMENTAL IMPACT <br /> <br />In accordance with the California Environmental Quality Act, the <br />recommended action is exempt from further review. Categorical Exemption <br />ER No.00-166 has been filed. <br /> <br />FISCAL IMPACT <br /> <br />The funding analysis shows a total estimated construction cost of <br />$1,373,600 for the project (Exhibit 3).
