RECONVENED - COUNCIL CHAMBERS - 8:44 P.M. ~ All Councilmembers present <br />except Councilmember Norton. <br /> <br />70.A. <br /> <br />Motion: <br /> <br />CLOSED SESSION REPORT <br /> <br />Authorize settlement as follows: <br /> <br />Alejandro Garcia vs. City of Santa Ana, in the amount of $20,000.00. <br /> <br />MOTION: Pulido <br /> <br />VOTE: AYES: <br /> NOES: <br /> <br />ABSENT: Norton <br /> <br /> SECOND: McGuigan <br /> <br />Acosta, Griset, McGuigan, Pulido, Richardson, Young <br />None <br /> <br />90.C. <br /> <br />COUNCIL COMMENTS <br /> <br />Councilmember Acosta requested that staff provide him with a copy of the Floral Park <br />Traffic Survey and any subsequent surveys distributed in the neighborhood. <br /> <br />Councilmember McGuigan commended the Police Department for its program to reduce <br />driving while under the influence of alcohol during the Christmas season and suggested the <br />community would benefit should the program be a year-round effort. <br /> <br />Councilmember Richardson requested that staff communicate the Council's action regarding <br />opposition to the Comcast Cablevision's scrambling plan to all persons who had written the <br />Council concerning the matter. <br /> <br />Mayor Young requested staff develop special enforcement techniques to apprehend graffiti <br />vandals, particularly frequent offenders. <br /> <br />ADJOURNMENT - 8:51 P.M. <br /> <br />Janice C.
