Roofs Roofs are important functionally and aesthetically to a residence. When replacement is necessary, new roofing should be compatible with the original architectural style of the structure. The original roofing material for most residences in Heninger Park was wood shingle or shake. The original roof material for the Spanish Colonial Revival style residences was file.
