Therefore, the long-term operational air <br />quality impacts associated with the proposed project would be <br />less than significant. <br /> <br />Short-ter.m constructed Related Air Quality Impacts <br /> <br />Construction operations associated with the proposed project <br />could potentially result in short-term increases in particulate <br />mater, and to a lesser degree increases in carbon monoxide and <br />ozone. <br /> <br />Using the South Coast Air Quality Management District CEQA Air <br />Quality Handbook as a guideline, potentially significant short- <br />term air quality impacts could occur when construction <br />operations involve over 1,309,000 square feet of grading. The <br />proposed project would involve approximately 82,022 square feet <br />of grading. This amount of grading would be below the guideline <br />to determine potentially significant short-term air quality <br />impacts. <br /> <br />D. Expose Sensitive receptors to substantial pollutant <br />concentrations? <br /> <br />Potentially Significant Unless Mitigation Incorporated <br /> <br />Even though grading operations associated with the proposed <br />project would result in less than short-term air quality <br />impacts, uncontrolled dust from grading operations could be <br />nuisance to nearby land uses.
