Create a significant hazard to the public or the environment <br />through the routine transport, use or disposal of hazardous <br />materials? <br /> <br />Less Than Significant Impact <br /> <br />The long-term operation of the proposed project would not <br />involve activities that would emit hazardous emissions or <br />involve the routine handling of hazardous or acutely hazardous <br />materials. Short-term construction operations and the long-term <br />operation of the proposed project could potentially involve the <br />handling and storage of incidental amounts of hazardous <br />substances, such as paints, oils and solvents. However, the <br />quantities of hazardous materials handled would be minimal and <br />would not pose a health hazard to the public. <br /> <br />B. Emit hazardous emissions or handle hazardous or acutely <br />hazardous materials, substance or waste within one-quarter <br />mile of an existing or proposed school? <br /> <br />Less than Significant Impact <br /> <br />The project site is located within a quarter mile of a school <br />site. The proposed project is a medical office that would not <br />emit hazardous emissions. The long-term operation and <br />construction operations of the proj ect could involve the use <br />hazardous materials such as paints, and sol vents. However, the <br />quanti ties would be minimal and would not pose a hazard to the <br />public. <br /> <br />C. Be located on a site which is located on a list of <br />hazardous material sites compiles pursuant to Government <br />Code Section 659662.5 and, as a result, would it create a <br />significant hazard to the public or the environment? <br /> <br />No Impact <br /> <br />According to the Santa Ana Fire Department, the <br />project site is not included on a list of hazardous material <br />sites. Implementation of the proposed project would not create a <br />significant hazard to the public or the environment. <br /> <br />D. <br /> <br />For a project located within an airport land use plan or <br />where such a plan has not been adopted, within two miles <br /> <br />15 <br /> <br />3~A5~9 <br />
