<br />Attachment A <br /> <br />State Policies and Requirements, Continued <br /> <br />Allocations by <br />Discipline - <br />SHSP and <br />LETPP ONLY <br /> <br />Allocations by <br />Program <br />Activity <br /> <br />Governing <br />Body <br />Resolntion <br /> <br />Grant <br />Assnrances <br /> <br />Operational Areas must allocate SHSP and LETPP funds as follows: <br /> <br />. Fire services - 20% <br />. Police services - 20% <br />. Emergency medical services - 20% <br />. All other disciplines (discretionary) - 40% <br /> <br />NOTE: The Approval Authority may change the allocation percentages with <br />a 4/5th vote. <br /> <br />There are no state restrictions or preferences on how subgrantees allocate <br />funds across eligible program activities. <br /> <br />The Governing Body Resolution appoints agents authorized to execute any <br />actions necessary for each application and subgrant. Subgrantees are not <br />required to submit a new Governing Body Resolution for HSGP 05 if <br />previously submitted Resolutions can be applied to HSGP 05. <br /> <br />NOTE: Previous Resolutions that referred to specific fiscal years or different <br />grant names require the submission of a new Resolution for HSGP 05. A <br />sample Resolution can be found in Appendix B. <br /> <br />The Grant Assurances form lists the requirements to which the subgrantees <br />will be held accountable. Subgrantees are not required to submit a new Grant <br />Assurances form for HSGP 05 if previously submitted Assurances can be <br />applied to HSGP 05. <br /> <br />NOTE: Previous Assurances that referred to specific fiscal years or different <br />grant names, require the submission of a new Assurances form for HSGP 05. <br />A sample Assurances form can be found in Appendix B. <br /> <br />Continued on next page <br /> <br />Page 10 <br /> <br />FY05 Homeland Security Grant Program <br />
