<br />MOUs with WIA Mandated Partners <br />June 5, 2006 <br />Page 3 <br /> <br />Worker programs must be provided through the One Stop delivery system, <br />and that partners must participate in the operation of the system and the <br />delivery of these services. <br /> <br />Through Memorandums of Understanding (MOU), a collaboration by all of the <br />One-Stop partners is created for a seamless system of service delivery <br />designed to enhance access to the program's services and improve long- <br />term employment outcomes for individuals receiving assistance. The MOU <br />must contain the provisions required by WIA which includes the services <br />to be provided through the One-Stop delivery system; the funding of the <br />services and operating costs of the system; and the methods for referring <br />individuals between the One-Stop operators and partners. The MOU will be <br />in effect for a period of two years and may be extended prior to the <br />expiration date pursuant to a written request from the One-Stop partner. <br /> <br />FISCAL IMPACT <br /> <br />There is no fiscal impact associated with this action. <br /> <br /> <br />Patricia C.
