PUBLIC COMMENTS <br /> <br />Paul Le, 810 S. Bristol, requested the Council's assistance with his plan to operate a <br />lawnmower shop on his property. <br /> <br />Robert Banuelos, 835 S. Newhope, spoke about City personnel-related problems and was <br />referred by Mayor Young to City Manager Ream for assistance. Ream indicated he would <br />report back to the Council on the matter. <br /> <br />OFF-AGENDA ITEM <br /> <br />MINNIE STREET NO PARKING REGULATION <br /> <br />Lourdes Sanchez, 1126 S. Minnie Street #1, speaking on behalf of a group of Minnie Street <br />residents in attendance, related the benefits that the No Parking regulation on the westside of <br />Minnie Street had brought to her neighborhood and asked the Council to retain the No <br />Parking regulation. <br /> <br />City Manager Ream explained that: <br /> <br />the Minnie Street No Parking regulation was requested by Minnie Street <br />property owners and tenants to provide a safer and cleaner environment for the <br />neighborhood; <br /> <br />Hermandad Mexicana Nacional argued on behalf of other tenants that the <br />regulation would leave insufficient parking in the area; <br /> <br />CITY COUNCIL MINUTES 227 JUNE 7, 1993 <br /> <br /> <br />
