the No Parking regulation was implemented but the restriction was to be <br />removed if Hermandad Mexicana Nacional found the restriction created a <br />parking shortage in the area; <br /> <br />based on Hermandad Mexicana Nacional's recent finding of insufficient parking, <br />the No Parking regulation was set to expire on June 9, 1993. <br /> <br />After extensive Council discussion on the matter, Councilmember Moreno made the <br />following motion: <br /> <br />Motion: 1. Approve. <br /> <br />Retention of No Parking regulation on Minnie Street's westside pending the <br />conduct of a neighborhood poll on a new parking plan <br /> <br />2. Authorize. <br /> <br />Staff to conduct a poll in the Minnie Street area to determine whether the No <br />Parking regulation should be implemented on one side, both sides, or no side of <br />Minnie Street. <br /> <br />3. Instruct. <br /> <br />City Manager to report poll results at the July 6, 1993 Council meeting. <br /> <br />MOTION: Moreno SECOND: Pulido <br /> <br />City Attorney Edward J. Cooper stated that the Brown Act prohibited the Council from <br />voting on items not listed on the Agenda.
