RESOLUTIONS <br /> <br />55.A. <br /> <br />HOME MORTGAGE FINANCE AND CREDIT CERTIFICATE PROGRAM <br /> <br />The Mortgage Credit Certificate Program is designed to assist low/moderate <br />income first-time homebuyers purchase a single-family home. Starboard, John Raya, 415 W. 19th Street, and Maria Ross Ibarra, 2218 <br />S. Van Ness, expressed concerns regarding a proposal to locate a Materials Recovery <br />Facility in the Delhi neighborhood on South Standard and encouraged the Council to reject <br />the proposal. <br /> <br />Virgel L. Nickell, 1500 N. Harbor Blvd., #G2, encouraged the Council to assist his <br />neighbor, John Spring, obtain the necessary City approvals to modify Spring's dwelling in a <br />manner which would improve its livability for Spring's disabled wife. <br /> <br />Michael Burckley, 2111 W. 17th Street, #E35, suggested the Council ask Comcast <br />Cablevision for a status report on its fee negotiations regarding the transmission of broadcast <br />channels on Comcast cable and inquired as to whether Comcast would be in violation of its <br />franchise agreement with the City if the company refused to carry any broadcast channels on <br /> <br />CITY COUNCIL MINI,WES 295 AUGUST 16, 1993 <br /> <br /> <br />
