The lowest <br />bid was submitted by All American Asphalt for $1,499,494, which is above <br />the Engineer's estimate of $1,106,020. The high bid is attributed to the <br />recent escalation in material costs. <br /> <br />ENVIRONMENTAL IMPACT <br /> <br />In accordance with the California Environmental Quality Act, the <br />recommended action is exempt from further review. Categorical Exemption <br />ER no. 2005-79 was filed for this project. <br /> <br />FISCAL IMPACT <br /> <br />The funding analysis shows a total estimated construction cost of <br />$1,874,300 for the project (Exhibit 2).
