The Bristol Street Widening Project is largest infrastructure <br /> <br /> <br />improvement project for CITY. Bristol Street is a major north/south arterial street through the center <br /> <br /> <br />of Orange County from the Garden Grove Freeway (State Route 22) on the north to the South Coast <br /> <br /> <br />Plaza at CITY's southern city limit. The Project will include completion of the widening between 1 th <br /> <br /> <br />Street and Warner Avenue. The street will be widened from two to three lanes in each direction. <br /> <br /> <br />Additional improvements will include: landscaped medians and parkways/greenbelts; storm drain <br /> <br /> <br />improvements; addition of greenbelt landscaping throughout the corridor; the upgrade of street <br /> <br /> <br />lighting and the building of soundwalls where necessary. <br /> <br /> <br />The Project is to be completed in four phases. Phases I and /I of the Project will consist of <br /> <br /> <br />the corridor located between McFadden Street and Pine Street, and 3'" Street and Civic Center <br /> <br /> <br />Drive, respectively. Funding towards the completion of Phase I and Phase" of the Project will be <br /> <br /> <br />provided by the Orange County Transportation Authority. <br /> <br /> <br />A more detailed scope is outlined in Exhibit H. <br /> <br />12 <br />13 <br />14 <br /> <br />Page 20 of 26 <br />
