EXHIBIT A <br />SAPPHIRE TECHNOLOGIES <br />The Santa Ana Fire Department (SAFD) computing environment presently consists of the following <br />• Winterm and Dell Dim PC's of varying models running Windows NT, 2000, XP, Microsoft <br />Office Suite and Exchange <br />• 60 HP Inkjet and Laserjet printers of various types, some stand alone, some networked <br />• 14 Dell and HP Servers <br />• Cisco Routers and hubs <br />• TCP /IP, DECnet and LAT protocols on the network hosted by WIN NT 4.0 <br />• 22 Dell laptops, varying models <br />• Pending mobile environment introducing Motorola MDC's and Itronix Go Book pen tablets <br />via cellular technology <br />• Tritech CAD <br />Applications include <br />• Telestaff <br />• Compudyne 24/7 Records Management System (RMS) <br />• Microsoft Office <br />This list of hardware and software may be amended from time to time at the sole discretion of SAFD. <br />Consultant represents that it will have the ability to provide IT services to all hardware, software <br />integrated into SAFD computing environment. <br />In performing services pursuant to said Agreement, Consultant will <br />I. Provide oversight of network projects, specifically supervising existing IT staff in <br />completion of mobile data computer (MDC) project and its related mobile and CAD <br />applications. <br />2. Provide oversight and guidance in system security development <br />3. Provide oversight and guidance to application development and implementation, <br />specifically working with a significant Records Management System (RMS) upgrade <br />4. Coordinate Information Technology resources and advise Command Staff <br />Sapphire will manage and support Santa Ana Fire Departments needs: <br />We find our clients are best served through a long -term, close working relationship which allows us <br />to anticipate their needs in advance. To ensure service delivery to (SAFD) upon award and <br />throughout our contract, Sapphire has established single point of contact supported by a <br />knowledgeable team that will be ready to service you. The following is an overview of the team <br />structure: <br />• Sinele Point of Contact: Sapphire Technologies recommends local Account Manager, Erin <br />Varnado, to serve as SAFD's primary contact for all your technical needs in all disciplines <br />included in this proposal. Erin will be responsible for developing an understanding of your <br />structure, standard policies and procedures, soft skill requirements /office culture, and most <br />common staffing needs at the very on -set of our award.
