The name of Saddleback View Park was approved by the Board of Recreation <br />and Parks and the Planning Commission and is being recommended to the City <br />Council on May 1, 2006. A ground breaking event is being planned for Saturday <br />May 20, 2006 at 11:OOam. <br />6. JOINT USE DISCUSSION <br />• Staff indicated a Technical Advisory Committee, made up of city and district <br />staff is being established, per the agreement to discuss the joint use of <br />scheduling, programming and security at Hector Godinez High School. The <br />first meeting will be held on April 19th to discuss security issues of the campus <br />and park site. <br />7. MOTHERS DAY CELEBRATION <br />• Staff presented a draft program of the Mother's Day Event that will be held on <br />May 13, 2006; 5pm-9pm at the Santa Ana Stadium. The program will include <br />Trio Los Luises, Ballet Folklorico de Casa Guanajuato, Mariachis, and Little <br />Joe y La Familia as the main feature. The gates will open at 4:OOpm. Various <br />teams have been established to prepare and deliver information to the media, <br />recreation centers, radios, Channel 3, Stadium Marquee, City Web, and flyer <br />distribution to the colleges, churches, businesses, other events and city staff. <br />8.
