In addition, another business bank will be coming to Santa Ana <br />focusing on the Latino marketplace, however the location is not available <br />at this time. <br /> <br />HERNANDEZ <br />Announced the Pio Pico annual Education and Literacy Fair would take <br />place on Saturday March 4th from 10:00 a.m. to 1.00 p.m. <br /> <br />EMPOWERMENT ZONE MANAGER SANCHEZ <br />Reported that February 11th was an Earned Income Tax Day Initiative with <br />five sites participating and working with Latino Health Access and United <br />Way. She worked at Corbin Center and many people participated in filing <br />their taxes and received credits. <br /> <br />The nex1lnitiative is April 15, 2006. To get the word out, the City is in the <br />process of working at targeting some local businesses to distribute the <br />information with pay stubs. <br /> <br />ANTON <br />Indicated that the Social Compact article determined a large percentage of <br />people did not have banking relationships.
