<br />arrfA <br /> <br />Responses to <br />Environmental Checklist <br />For CEQA Compliance <br /> <br />E. Sewer access is available in the project area. No impacts would occur. <br /> <br />VII. Hazards and Hazardous Materials <br /> <br />A. Implementation of the proposed project is not associated with the use, storage, or <br />disposal of hazardous substances. No impact would occur. <br /> <br />B. The proposed project is iess than one-half mile of an existing school. Due to the <br />small number of units, and low additional traffic count. No impact would occur. <br /> <br />C. The proposed project area does not include sites located on a Hazardous Material <br />Site List. There are no impacts. <br /> <br />D, There are no public airports in the City of Santa Ana; however, John Wayne <br />International Airport is located one-miie southwest of city limits. The proposed project <br />is not located within a two-mile radius of the airport. The proposal does not include <br />structures which exceed 200 feet in height, and is not within the John Wayne Airport <br />Planning Area. No impact would occur. <br /> <br />VIII. Hydrology and Water Quality <br /> <br />A. Runoff from the project area will not result in ongoing or new violations of water <br />quality or waste discharge standards imposed by the various agencies (RWQCB, <br />Orange County Water District, etc.). This is a relatively small infill development <br />project, and does not include an unanticipated amount of discharge into drainage. No <br />significant impact would occur. <br /> <br />B. The proposed project, in conjunction with other past, present, and reasonable <br />foreseeable future projects, will contribute to the utilization of public water. The level <br />of development anticipated under the proposal is such that it does not necessitate the <br />preparation of an assessment to ensure water supplies are not adversely affected. <br />Impacts are insignificant due to the relatively small scale of this project as an infill <br />development project.. <br /> <br />C. The proposed project Is within a developed and urbanized area. The project will not <br />result in a significant change in surface drainage patterns or absorption, as the site is <br />currently impervious, and will continue to be post-construction. The site is less than <br />one acre, and would not require preparation of a Water Quality Management Plan. <br />No significant impact would occur.. <br /> <br />D. Surface waters in the region couid be degraded by runoff from the proposed project; <br />however, do the relatively small scale of the project (less than one acre). In impact <br />would occur. <br /> <br />E. The proposed project includes new housing development. According to Exhibit 3-11 <br />of the Santa Ana General Pian Draft Environmental Impact Report, the proposed <br />project is not located within a 100-Year Flood Zone. No impacts would occur. <br /> <br />F. The project does not consist of a structure that would impede or redirect flood flows. <br />No impacts would occur. <br /> <br />7 SCr-44 <br />
