A summery of the bid invitations and bids received is <br />as follows: <br /> <br />15 Invitation For Bid mailed <br />3 Invitation for Bid mailed to Santa Ana vendors <br />7 Bids Received <br />1 Bid Received from a Santa Ana vendor <br /> <br />Bids were received, opened on October 11, 2006, and evaluated (Exhibit 1). <br />The bids received from the recommended vendors are responsive to the <br />specifications and meet the City requirements. Staff contacted the two <br />Santa Ana firms that did not bid.
