City of Santa Ana On-Call Engineering and Landscaping Design Services - 2006 <br />2. WORK PLAN <br />Project Understanding/ <br />.Approach <br />The City of Santa Ana is soliciting <br />proposals from professional <br />consulting firms to provide <br />engineering services on an as- <br />needed basis. The work consists of <br />general engineering/architectural/ <br />landscaping design projects on <br />arterial and local roads and public <br />parks and facilities on a citywide <br />basis. The City may also require <br />construction management, staking <br />and inspection services. <br />The key to successfully completing <br />on-call services is to have the depth <br />of staff and to work as an extension <br />of the City's engineering staff. Only <br />five minutes from the Public Works <br />Agency's office, DMJM Harris <br />is ready to provide the staff and <br />services needed for efficient work <br />performance. The following work <br />plan represents our general project <br />approach. DMJM Harris will develop <br />a specific work plan for each task <br />order for which we are selected. The <br />key to our approach is to provide <br />the right team for each task. We use , <br />a five-step process (Figure 2-1) to <br />ensure timely and effective response <br />to our client's requests for on-call <br />services. <br />Technical Work Plan <br />DMJM Harris has developed <br />a typical approach for project <br />development. Figure 2-2 is a graphic <br />presentation of this approach.
