Company and Team Experience and Qualifications <br />DMJM Harris has reviewed the available documentation for <br />these projects and based on our understanding of the scope, <br />we have added the services of four subconsultants. Figure <br />12 shows the makeup of our team and the expertise that each <br />firm will provide. These firms were selected based on their <br />excellent reputation of delivering quality work, our current <br />working relationship, and familiarity with similar projects. <br />Additionally two of these firms, Earth Mechanics and Asahi <br />Surveying are DBE firms that have worked with DMJM <br />Harris on numerous projects in the past. Following are brief <br />profiles of our firm and each of our subconsultants. <br />DMJM HARRIS I AECOM <br />DMJM Harris is the flagship transportation firm under its <br />parent company, AECOM Technology Corporation, now <br />rated the Number 1 firm in the nation in transportation <br />engineering by Engineering News -Record. Since 1927, we <br />have built a strong presence in California. We have more than <br />200 engineers supporting our offices in southern California. <br />The DMJM Harris team is comprised of engineers and other <br />professionals to provide the maximum value in quality, <br />timeliness, and cost-effective conceptual, preliminary, and final <br />engineering design, program management, and construction <br />management services. (LSA) is a diversified community <br />L[� /� planning, transportation, and environmental <br />J �` � firm with 27 years of experience with <br />complex projects including preparing <br />NEPA/CEQA documents for roadway transportation <br />projects throughout Southern California and the western <br />United States. (EMI) was founded as a California <br />Corporation in February, 1989. EMI is a DBE -certified <br />geotechnical and earthquake engineering consulting <br />company. The firm specializes in site investigation and <br />foundation design for projects related to transportation and <br />infrastructure construction and rehabilitation. The firm is <br />experienced in providing services to local county and city <br />agencies and transportation commissions. EMI has offices <br />located throughout southern California. The headquarters is <br />in Fountain Valley, Orange County. Other offices are located <br />in downtown San Bernardino, San Pedro and Oakland. <br />EMI's technical staff is familiar with Federal Codes and <br />Specifications published by AREMA, FHWA, AASHTO <br />and ATC (Applied Technology Council) as well as design <br />manuals, Standard Plans and Specifications and other design <br />guidelines published by Caltrans <br />04601 324.5557 19 <br />
