2. Steel Structural Elements: Use beam clamps and fasteners. Crouse Hinds, <br />Appleton or Oz Gedney. <br />3. Concrete Surfaces: Use expansion type stud anchors. Hilti or approved <br />equal. <br />2.2 SUPPORT CHANNEL <br />A. Wet & Damp locations: FRP conduit support system. Glasstrut or equal. All <br />hardware shall be 316 stainless steel. All channels shall be machine cut at precisely <br />90 and neatly filed. Corners shall be radiused. <br />B. Dry locations: Galvanized steel support system. <br />C. All channels shall be machine cut at precisely 90 radiused and filed smooth. <br />Galvanized steel unistrut shall be galvanized coated after cutting. <br />PART 3 — EXECUTION <br />3.1 INSTALLATION <br />A. Install products in accordance with manufacturer's instructions and recommendations. <br />B. Provide anchors, fasteners, and supports in accordance with NECA "Standard of <br />Installation ". <br />C. Do not fasten supports to pipes, ducts, mechanical equipment or conduit. <br />D. Spring steel clips shall not be used. Wall mounted conduit shall be supported by <br />channel or by malleable clamps with backing plates. <br />E. Powder - actuated anchors shall not be used. <br />F. Structural members shall not be modified. <br />G. Install surface - mounted cabinets and panelboards with minimum of four anchors. <br />H.
