As a part of its responsibility the SMS Supplier shall prepare and submit complete and organized shop drawings, as specified herein. Interface between instruments, existing control panels, motor control centers and other equipment related to the Security Management System shall be included in the shop drawing submittal. All drawings developed for the SCADA system shall be generated utilizing a commercial CAD system and shall be delivered on CD -ROM in a DWG format, as completely compatible with /readable by the latest AutoCAD software package. Manuals written specifically for this project shall be generated utilizing latest version of MS Word, and shall be delivered on CD -ROM. Two (2) sets of copies of all data shall be provided. B. During the period of preparation of this submittal, the CONTRACTOR shall authorize direct, informal liaison between the SMS Supplier and the ENGINEER for exchange of technical information. As a result of this liaison, certain minor refinements and revisions in the Systems as specified may be authorized informally by the ENGINEER, but these shall not alter the Scope of Work or cause increase or decrease in the Contract price. During this informal exchange, no oral statement by the ENGINEER shall be construed to give formal approval of any component or method, nor shall any statement be construed to grant formal exception to or variation from these Contract Documents. C. Should an error be found in a shop drawing during installation or startup of equipment, the correction, including any field changes found necessary, shall be noted on the drawing and submitted finally "as- built" prior to acceptance of the project. D. The CONTRACTOR shall submit detailed shop drawings and data prepared and organized by the SMS Supplier. All shop drawings shall include the letter head and /or title block of the approved SMS Supplier responsible for this project. The title block shall include, as a minimum, the SMS Supplier's registered business name and address, project name, drawing name, revision level, and personnel responsible for the content of the drawing. The quantity of submittal sets required shall be as specified in Section entitled, "Contractor Submittals." The submittal shall be submitted complete at one time within 30 working days after date of Notice to Proceed. Any incomplete submittal will be rejected and returned without comments. E. SMS Hardware: This submittal to include cameras, motion detectors, mounting poles, mounting hardware, security equipment panels, Ethernet switches, DC power supplies, UPSs, SMS server computer, and SMS color printer, shall be included in a singular, all- inclusive submittal which shall include but not be limited to: 1. A complete index appearing in the front of each bound submittal volume. Labeled tags shall separate system groups. 2. A complete system block diagram. 3. Corporate Yard Site Drawing, including control room and UPS room floor plan, detailing existing console, equipment locations and conduit and wire routing /details.
