PUBLIC COMMENTS <br /> <br />The following persons alleged a lack of responsiveness by the City regarding the Josh <br />Campos case, a shooting death involving a Santa Police officer (see 1998 Minutes <br />page 269), and urged the investigation of the incident be expedited: <br /> <br />Carah Reed <br />Jessica Castro <br />Paul Moreno <br />Manny Marroquin <br /> <br />Larry Luera and Manny Marroquin urged the Council to distribute Empowerment Zone <br />funds equitably throughout the City. <br /> <br />Jos~ Fernandez commented that he had filed an Application for Service to the City in <br />December but had not heard from any of the Councilmembers, and expressed his <br />continued interest in serving on a board or commission. <br /> <br />CITY COUNCIL MINUTES 71 MARCH 1, 1999 <br /> <br /> <br />
