PUBLIC COMMENTS <br /> <br />Bill Todd invited the Council to attend an April 15 rally at Susan and Sunflower Streets <br />protesting high income taxes, and also advised the Council that the April 5 Agenda was <br />not posted on the City's web site. Councilmember Bist opined that the lack of posting <br />might be due to the Webmaster's being on jury duty. <br /> <br />Dr. Mary Watson thanked City staff for assistance in locating sites for neighborhood health <br />clinics, informed the Council that Santa Ana's project to ensure legal dispensation of <br />medicines had been adopted as the model for the 'Safe Medicines' Coalition's countywide <br />program, and asked the Council to support the Free Health Plan's efforts to bring medical <br />care to under-served neighborhoods. <br /> <br />Elizabeth Gortarez expressed support for Dr. Watson's program. <br /> <br />Councilmember McGuigan requested that a proclamation be prepared to recognize the <br />NBC4 Health Fair Expo scheduled for April 10, 1999 at the Sav-On parking lot at Edinger <br />and Main Streets. <br /> <br />CITY COUNCIL MINUTES <br /> <br />107 APRIL 5, 1999 <br /> <br /> <br />
