WORK STUDY <br /> <br />· City Attorney Joseph Fletcher <br />· City Manager David Ream <br />· Community Development Executive Director Cindy Nelson <br />· Finance and Management Services Executive Director Rod Coloma <br /> <br />Tony Aguilar from Southern California Edison and Judy Woolen from The Gas Company <br />explained they were available to answer questions. <br /> <br />Desi Reyes representing the ComLink Executive Board, Dave Murray, and Dave Lopez <br />expressed support for the proposed trench cut fee. <br /> <br />Judy Edge requested asphalt patching in the Sandpointe Neighborhood, particularly on <br />Birch and Aurora streets. <br /> <br />Mike Metzler, Executive Director of the Santa Ana Chamber of Commerce, suggested the <br />trench cut fee be analyzed further to avoid penalizing responsible utility providers. <br /> <br />Mayor Pulido and Councilmember Franklin left the meeting at 9:11 p.m. Councilmember <br />Lutz left the meeting at 9:14 p.m. <br /> <br />The following department heads continued with justifications regarding position changes <br />in their departments: <br /> <br />· Library Director Rob Richard <br />· Recreation and Community Services Executive Director Cleve Williams <br />· Personnel Services Executive Director Henry Alva <br />· Planning and Building Agency Executive Director Robyn Uptegraff <br />· Police Chief Paul Walters <br />· Public Works Agency Executive Director Jim Ross <br /> <br />Dave Lopez opined the City needed additional residential Code Enforcement positions. <br /> <br />City Manager Ream summarized the budget presentation with the comment that a <br />downsized City organization was providing more and higher quality programs despite a <br />50% increase in its customer base. <br /> <br />COMMENTS <br /> <br />90.A.
