<br />County Social Services Department and one appointed by a faith-based <br />organization in the community selected by the City Council. <br /> <br />The proposed Commission will make recommendations concerning gang <br />prevention, intervention, suppression methods, rehabilitation and <br />employment. It will also identify local state and federal funding <br />sources for front line law enforcement and address other gang related <br />policy matters. <br /> <br />The Commission will meet on an average of twice a month and receive <br />$50 per meeting, with a maximum of two meetings. <br /> <br />FISCAL IMPACT <br /> <br />$41,830 annually.
