<br />Sec. 2-451. Requirements of Membership. <br /> <br />Each member of the youth commission shall be a student, as well as a <br />resident of the City of Santa Ana. Regular and alternate members are <br />limited to high school Llged individuals fages 14-21-~ and associate <br />members are limited to intermediate school aged individuals fages 11-- <br />17~. Should any member cease to reside within the City of Santa Ana, <br />cease to attend classes as a student, by either graduation or termination <br />of education, or reach the age of nineteen (-is) twenty-two (22), his/her <br />office shall automatically be vacated. All prospective members under the <br />age of 18 shall provide written proof of parental or guardian permission to <br />qualify for appointment. Each member shall be limited to a 4 year term <br />on the Commission. <br /> <br />Section 3. If any section, subsection, sentence, clause, phrase or portion of <br />this ordinance is for any reason held to be invalid or unconstitutional by the decision <br />of any court of competent jurisdiction, such decision shall not affect the validity of the <br />remaining portions of this ordinance. The City Council of the City of Santa Ana <br />hereby declares that it would have adopted this ordinance and each section, <br />subsection, sentence, clause, phrase or portion thereof irrespective of the fact that <br />anyone or more sections, subsections, sentences, clauses, phrases, or portions be <br />declared invalid or unconstitutional. <br /> <br />ADOPTED this <br /> <br />day of <br /> <br />,2007 <br /> <br />Miguel A.
