On various occasions this resolution was amended <br />and the Council Committees reorganized. <br /> <br />In order to improve efficiency of the committee process, it is recommended <br />that the Council Committees again be restructured. It is recommended that <br />the number of committees be reduced to four, and that the following <br />Commi ttees be established: Development, Transportation, Public Safety, <br />and, Parks, Recreation, Education & Youth. Each committee shall consist of <br />two or three Councilmembers as determined and appointed by the Mayor. <br />Members shall serve on each committee for a two year term commencing with <br />the first meeting of each new city council following a general election, <br /> <br />FISCAL IMPACT <br /> <br />There is no fiscal impact associated with this action. <br /> <br />55C-1 <br />
