<br />jwf: 1/18/07 <br /> <br />RESOLUTION <br /> <br />A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE <br />CITY OF SANTA ANA ESTABLISHING CERTAIN <br />COMMITTEES OF THE CITY COUNCIL <br /> <br />BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF SANTA <br />ANA AS FOLLOWS: <br /> <br />Section 1. The City Council hereby finds, determines and declares as follows: <br /> <br />A. The City Council has, from time to time, created and modified <br />Committees of the Council for the purpose of focusing greater Council attention <br />on key priorities coming before or of interest to the Council. <br /> <br />B. The City Council seeks to again reorganize the committees to <br />reduce the number of committees to four (4), but to permit the number of <br />members of any committee to be as many as three. <br /> <br />Section 2. From and after the date hereof, there shall be the following <br />Committees of the City Council: <br /> <br />a. Development <br />b. Transportation <br />c. Public Safety <br />d. Parks, Recreation, Education & Youth <br /> <br />Each committee shall consist of two or three council members as <br />determined and appointed by the Mayor. Each committee member shall serve <br />on the committee for a two year term commencing with the first meeting of each <br />new city council following a general election, but each councilmember shall <br />continue to serve on his or her committee until replaced. <br /> <br />Section 3. Resolution No. 2005-102 is hereby repealed in its entirety and shall <br />be null and void for all purposes. <br /> <br />ADOPTED this <br /> <br />day of <br /> <br />,2007. <br /> <br />Miguel A.
