COMMENTS <br /> <br />requested assistance from the City Attorney with a barking dog problem in <br />south Santa Ana; and <br />reported constituent complaints regarding early closure of the restrooms in <br />Heritage Park and asked Recreation and Community Services Executive <br />Director Cleve Williams to investigate. <br /> <br />Councilmember Christy <br />· reported her attendance at the Tdnity Law School accreditation ceremonies and <br />expressed the School's appreciation for the City's recognition of the event; <br />· reported overgrown foliage on Alton Avenue between Bristol Street and <br /> Fairview Avenue and asked staff to investigate; <br />· encouraged the audience to participate in "Walk a Child to School Day" on <br /> Wednesday; and <br />· congratulated Pio Pico School on its receipt of a $90,000 donation from Bank <br /> of America for its educational programs. <br /> <br />Councilmember Franklin <br />· thanked Cleve Williams and Gil Marrem for their outstanding efforts in ensuring <br /> the success of the Jazz and Blues Festival; <br />· echoed Councilmember McGuigan's congratulations regarding Washington <br /> Square successful Home and Garden Tour; <br />· noted sod had been placed in the Grand Avenue median by CalTrans and <br /> requested staff ask CalTrans to plant trees as well on that median; <br />· urged residents to plant trees on their properties and encouraged them to <br /> contact the City for tree planting in residential parkways; <br />· expressed the appreciation of Richard Brandt for the new ramps at City Hall for <br /> the disabled; <br />· suggested the Historic Commission might want to initiate exchanges with other <br /> historic commissions in the Southern California area; and <br />· asked Clave Williams to inquire when and if Comcast Cablevision plans to <br /> broadcast "Court TV." <br /> <br />ADJOURNMENT - 10:20 P.M. <br /> <br /> To 5:30 p.m. on October 18, 1999 in the Police Community Room, 60 Civic Center <br /> Plaza, Santa Ana, California <br /> <br />Janice C.
