The Mayor closed the public hearing at 9:01 p.m. <br />Motion: 1. Approve and certify Negative Declaration for the 17'hStreet at <br />SR Overcrossing Approach Project between Tustin Avenue <br />and the SR55 freeway. <br />2. CONSTRUCTION OF DELHI COMMUNITY CENTER (MORENO) <br />The following persons requested the Council to commit to constructing a <br />community center in Delhi Park as originally proposed: <br />Rosa Montanez <br />Vivian Martinez <br />Lupe Munoz <br />Virginia Avila <br />Fernando Cibrian <br />Alejandro Rincon <br />Kim McPeck <br />Maria Woods <br />Mayor Pulido explained the City could undertake construction of a $4.2 million <br />project at this time, but lacked sufficient funding to build the project as originally <br />envisioned.
