Optional Task 3.4 Continuing Consultation and Final Revisions <br />In our experience with tribal consultation, the reQuirements of SB 18 can <br />usually be met in one, and at most, two meetings per tribe. This scope <br />of work and budget assumes a maximum of two meetings. Any additional <br />meetings would be attended on a time -and -materials basis. <br />Task 4: Screencheck Draft EIR <br />Task 4.1: General Information <br />Introduction <br />This section is intended as a convenience to the reader who is not <br />familiar with CEQA, EIRs or the environmental review process. The <br />purpose and standards of adeQuacy for an EIR will be defined. A <br />discussion the environmental review process for this project will be <br />presented. Characteristics of an EIR and the reasons for preparing an <br />EIR for this project will be described, and the intended use of this <br />document as the master environmental clearance for the proposed <br />project. <br />Executive Summary <br />"Thi6 is one, of fhe, ie4t draff This section will consist of a concise summary of the information <br />presented in the main body of the EIR. Specific characteristics of the project will be defined, <br />including the proposed tentative tract map, zone change, general plan <br />amendment and development agreement. Rectuired discretionary <br />approvals and anticipated uses of the EIR will be identified. Illustrations <br />will include regional and site location maps, and the proposed land use <br />plan. <br />Environmental Setting <br />A general description of the regional and local setting will be provided to <br />establish the environmental and planning context within which this <br />project occurs.
