PUBLIC COMMENTS <br />Chuck Bordenave expressed his concerns about neighborhood <br />overcrowding and art matters. <br />William Witten, Gilbert Ricardo and Amelia Armasy spoke on the Linwood <br />Permit Parking District <br />90.13. CITY COUNCIL COMMENTS <br />Councilmember Moreno <br />• Announced that he attended the Rancho Santiago College <br />Scholarship reception and that 98 scholarships of $1,000 each were <br />awarded to Santa Ana residents who are planning to attend college. <br />• Mentioned that today was the last Council meeting for Robyn <br />Uptegraff, Executive Director, Planning and Building Agency, who is <br />leaving the City after 22 years to accept a position at the Irvine <br />Company. <br />Councilmember Bist <br />• Noted that last year the City had received ERAF relief funds from the <br />state and that if received again this year, the additional monies <br />should be allocated to neighborhood infrastructure improvements. <br />• Stated that she had attended open house on Saturday at the Artists <br />Village and had to park at 3rd and Sycamore because the parking <br />lots were full for this event. <br />• Thanked Robyn Uptegraff for her dedicated service to the City. <br />CITY COUNCIL MINUTES 184 JUNE 5, 2000 <br />
