4. The number of years that the Proposer has been in the business of providing temporary technical contract service personnel and/or consulting services of the kind sought by the City. We are a 26 year old privately held company. Founded in 1981 as "CDI Computer Dynamics, Inc. of California. We changed our name to "The Comdyn Group" in 1996 to shorten it and reduce confusion factors (there are several companies named "Computer Dynamics "). 5. A description of the overall qualifications of the Proposer and experience and ability to provide temporary technical contract service personnel and/or consulting services. For 26 years we've provided professional IT services to companies and governments, large and small. We were awarded a GSA Federal Supply Schedule Contract that qualifies us to work for the federal government and we are also a CMAS Certified Small Business that allows us to work with the State of California. Our experience working with multiple cities allows us insight into what is required to meet expectations. We take a problem solving approach to each client, striving to understand their unique needs, their environment, the type of people needed as well as the urgency of each requirement. Due to this problem solving approach, we have often been asked to design and build a whole solution, rather than offer staffing only. This has resulted in many repeat customers who appreciate the optimal results they achieve with our total solution approach. Our strong relationship with Microsoft and other leading hardware and software vendors has brought us many opportunities. Our references testify to the satisfaction of each client, be they recipients of our staffing solutions, on -time, on- budget delivered solutions or a combination of both. 6. A description of any unique qualifications and experience which distinguish Proposer's ability to provide temporary technical staffing and/or consulting. As stated previously, The Comdyn Group has been awarded a GSA Federal Supply Schedule Contract. To obtain this government contract, we went through and passed a rigorous screening process. This GSA supports and confirms our capabilities to fulfill IT service requirements from various Federal, DOD, State and local government agencies. The qualification to work with the GSA schedule includes an audit of financials. The screening process allows our civilian and /or local government clients the knowledge that we have passed such requirements.
