regularly received assignments of 3-6 months which we filled and which were then <br />extended for several more months or assigned to new tasks within GTE. During the <br />time of the move to Florida and Texas, GTE regularly requested of us (and we <br />agreed, as did our consultants) that they be allowed to hire our consultants on <br />permanent basis, some of whom had been on assignment there for two or more <br />years. Many of our consultants who started out as developers were promoted to <br />Managers and Project Leads. <br />Each assignment is carefully considered, assigned to the appropriate consultant <br />and successfully completed on time and on budget. Because of our "Boutique <br />Style" of service, we are able to be flexible with our pricing and approach. That <br />has been the principle reason that The Comdyn Group has been in business for 26 <br />years, quietly providing the best quality at the most reasonable price. <br />In addition, our recruiting /personnel professionals are focused on Employment Law <br />and Ethics. We are also sensitive to the interpersonal side of dealing with <br />consultants and their needs. We practice frequent follow -ups with our assigned <br />staff to ensure that the project, from the consultants' standpoint, is what they <br />expected and is meeting task requirements. <br />17. Provide an explanation of any training opportunities made available by the <br />Proposer for technical personnel engaged with the City. <br />We offer our employees training opportunities while on an assignment. Being a <br />Microsoft Certified Partner, we are able to offer both on -line and on -site class room <br />training. We compensate our employees if they wish to take additional technical <br />classes that will add value to their current projects (Technical Certifications, etc.). <br />We feel by offering these training opportunities it will improve job performance and <br />overall moral. We can offer "self study" courses and access to on -line libraries. <br />There is also a wide variety of on -line certification course available. <br />If we are fortune enough to be selected as a finalist for The City of Santa Ana, we <br />would be happy to discuss our training program in more detail. The details may <br />include classes and certification offered, as well as bonuses for achieving <br />certifications that are related to their project roles. <br />18. Explain any effort the Proposer takes to ensure that the technical knowledge <br />and skills of Its staff engaged with the City are maintained and refreshed <br />during long term engagements with the City. <br />We make every effort possible to make ensure that our consultants are up to date <br />with the latest technology and are performing up to the level of expectation by their <br />managers (see training information in question 17). We monitor our consultant's <br />performance by staying in regular contact with the Manager he /she works for and <br />conducting periodic on -site visits. <br />Our recruiters are in contact with our consultants on a regular basis to check on <br />their perception of how the project is proceeding and to get updates on progress, <br />foreseeable issues, time sheets, etc. Every two weeks time sheets are sent to the <br />
