In addition to maintaining these systems, the responsibilities of our department include the development of their replacement, a state -of- the -art integrated NET based platform that will serve all the applications in the company. The core of all the company's application is a sophisticated and highly configurable quoting engine capable of producing accurate customized quotes for specific clients from all major health insurance carriers. Responsibilities: • Consistently delivering Web based applications with superior performance and scalability. • Architecture, Web Application design, construction, testing and implementation. • Technical lead in the "New Architecture ", the new generation of NET Applications for the entire company. • Requirements analysis and management. • SQL Server 2000, Database table, view and store procedure design and programming. Database Administration and Optimization. Production Data Updates. • NET Framework, Construction of C# ASP. NET pages and other components. • ASP /JavaScript/HTML, Construction of the Web User Interface using Visual Interdev 6.0. • COM Object, Construction and maintenance of COM /COM+ components using Visual Basic 6.0 and Microsoft Distributed Transaction Coordinator. • N -Unit Test case design and test - driven development. • Deployment of the Application to the Production Environment. July 2001 - July 2005 Lead Developer for the Standard Pacific Homes Internet and Intranet Projects Project: Standard Pacific Homes is a nation -wide leader in the home building industry. We developed their current web site ( http:/ /www.standardpacifichomes.com). The content of the web site is managed through another web site available to authorized content administrators only. Also, we are about to deploy a new version of this web site, with full multi - lingual capabilities, entirely based on ASP.NET, Web Services and SQL Server 2000. Additionally, we have developed a number of Intranet Browser -based applications for Standard Pacific Homes, including a Warranty Management Application and a Weekly Sales Tracking Decision Support System.
