The <br />consul tant shall be paid for the actual services provided <br />for the project according to the proposed hourly rates and <br />unit costs. <br /> <br />In addition to the FEE SCHEDULE, the proposer shall submit <br />another fee proposal to include testing and inspection <br />services that can be provided by the proposer but are not <br />included in the FEE SCHEDULE. This fee proposal should be <br />included in the aforementioned envelope. <br /> <br />XIII. SELECTION PROCEDURE <br /> <br />All proposals will be evaluated by an evaluation committee. <br />The rating of the consultants shall be based on the <br />professional qualifications necessary for a satisfactory <br />completion of the project. Only the fee envelopes of the <br />firms on the short list will be opened. <br /> <br />The City reserves the right to negotiate with the qualified <br />consultant on the proposed fees prior to award of the <br />agreement. <br /> <br />The successful proposer shall be expected to execute an <br />agreement based on the format shown in Appendix B. <br /> <br />XIV. METHOD OF PAYMENT <br /> <br />Consultant's services shall be acquired on an as-needed <br />basis as requested by the City. Consul tant shall submit <br />monthly invoices to the City for approval, which shall <br />include a list of services that have been provided and <br />copies of field tickets signed by the City's representative. <br /> <br />}W. REGULATIONS <br /> <br />The selected consultant will be expected to comply with all <br />applicable Federal and State regulations, local codes, and <br />contract provisions. <br /> <br />}WI. CITY'S AFFIRMATIVE ACTION PROGRAM <br /> <br />The City has an affirmative action program. The purpose of <br />the affirmative action program is to encourage <br />disadvantaged business enterprises in participation of City <br />projects. The selected consulting firm must establish and <br />submit an affirmative action program to the city before the <br />agreement is awarded. <br /> <br />}wII.
