The fee will be applied to offset staff time to review and approve/deny application and to <br />remove the banner, if Applicant doesu't comply with removal guidelines. <br /> <br />PUBLIC WORKS AGEI\TY <br /> <br />~) Sign Remoyal from Publir Right of Way <br /> <br />EYisting Fee: Cost recovery <br />Proposed Fee" $25 per sign <br /> <br />The Ivhmicipal Code. SAMC 17-131 through 17-136. clllTelltly stipulates that a temporary sign is a public <br />lluisance And may be abated as such by any authorized city employee in accordance \vith this article. <br />Additionally. the code allows the City to recover costs Ii'om the person who benefited Ii'om the placement of <br />the sign in the Public Right of Way. <br /> <br />The Agency is proposing to add a fee to the Miscellaneous Fee Resolution establishing the ree at $25.00 per <br />sign. TIte cost of the ree includes the salaries of the staff for handling and removing the signs and for <br />prepming conespondence and invoicing of signs mld vehicles used ill the abatement process. <br /> <br />6) Temporary Construrtion ~leter Deposit <br /> <br />Etisti1/g Fee. 5750 <br />Proposed Fee' $9~5 <br /> <br />The deposit for cOllstmctiollll1eters is cmrently set by resolution at $750. This fee \vas laST adjusted in 1996. The <br />Agency is proposing to add this fee to the Miscellaneous Fee Resolution and increase the ree to $945.00.
