concerned for the publics safety, cleaning will stop and the process will continue when
the safest conditions present itself.
Along with safeguarding the general public, we have equipped our vehicles with warning
lights and markers. This allows our crew to work safely in crosswalks and sidewalks
adjacent to streets and busy intersections. In addition, our technicians all wear safety
vests that reflect light so they can be easily spotted by oncoming traffic.
Having our crew on the grounds of the Civic Center will act as a benefit to the city in
many ways. Not only will the area always be clean, our crews can alert city officials to
any hazards on the Civic Center grounds that may pose a threat to pedestrians. In the
past, our crews have been able to prevent accidental incidents involving the public by
pointing out hazardous situations to key people in time for the problem to be corrected.
This has been a common practice that our company strongly encourages and will continue
to do with the maintenance department of the Civic Center.
Upon completion of -each project our technician will remove any safety signage, discard
any debris caused by our cleaning and reopen the area for public traffic when the area is
completely dry.
Personnel
While involved in the cleaning process, we will have one technician and one supervisor
working in the area. The technician will be the main working individual, while the
supervisor will be the acting project foreman, as well as, be involved in the cleaning
process. The supervisor will be the one to notify our company of any hazards or incidents
that should be brought to The City's attention. He will also be in charge of the cleaning
process and sign off on the work upon completion in any particular area
We employ a very trained and competent staff of supervisors who have been in the
service industry their entire professional lives. They are skilled in the art of cleaning,
communication and management. As well, they have the knowledge and ability to
service and maintain our equipment should we experience a problem. This allows us to
continue the night's work if a piece of equipment should stop working. This is critical in
this type of industry because you don't want to lose a nights work due to equipment
failure.
Along with our supervisors, my partner or myself can be reached 24 hours a day if a
situation arises that requires our involvement. If there is not a need for a project foreman
on site, either my partner or myself will be acting project foreman.
