WORK STUDY SESSIONS <br /> <br />Motion: <br /> <br />Debbie McKeown spoke in favor of an ordinance which would prohibit the <br />discharge of fireworks prior to July 4th <br /> <br />Dave Guccione and Mark Gassman representing TNT Fireworks <br />supported a limit on the number of booths permitted for selling fireworks. <br /> <br />Council discussion ensued. <br /> <br />Councilmembers agreed that the number of booths should be limited and <br />that booths should not be allowed near the perimeters of Centennial Park. <br />Councilmember Solorio asked staff to look at the feasibility of increasing <br />permit fees for sale of fireworks.
